Scandinavia's largest and tallest church, whose construction began around 1270, with consecration taking place in 1435. National shrine of the Church of Sweden. Reliquary shrine of Erik the Holy, pulpit from Baroque period, modern wall textiles. Burial church for many famous Swedes: King Gustav I (Vasa), Carl Linnaeus, Nathan Söderblom, and others. Treasury with textiles and silver, shop and information. Gift shop and information. Limited access for others than participants during certain activities.

Conference facilitiesAdjacent to the cathedral is the Cathedral Café. Exhibitions and restaurant. Groups of up to 100 people welcome. Bookings, tel 018-14 14 15.

Guided tours: Guided tour in Swedish Sun year around 12:30pm. June 28–Aug 22 guided tours Mon–Sat in Swedish at 11am and at 1pm, in English at 2pm, Sun in Swedish at 12:30pm and in English at 4pm. Tours can be booked year round, phone +46(0)18–430 36 16.
